The aim of this research work is to modulate the pitch angle both types wind turbines based on fuzzy logic control (FLC), as changes in have various functions horizontal and vertical axis turbines. For HAWT, applied shield electrical components turbine when speed exceeds rated without shutting down turbine. FLC used angular velocity using two inputs one output with three membership for output. In VAWT, boost performance its self-starting torque. utilizes five types, produces a signal that drives actuator achieve desired angle. dynamics HAWT VAWT are simulated by MATLAB/Simulink demonstrate influence controls their dynamics. has successfully maintained rotor. values tip ratio coefficient reduced order maintain rotor at value. On other hand, results showed torque produced individual blade improved control. addition, gives enhanced higher Cp low ratios. Gain schedule PI controller also comparative study.
